Mrs. Olton is a risk management and patient safety consultant to BETA members. She leads the Just Culture program and the Culture of Safety domain of BETA HEART^®. She brings over 10 year of critical care experience to BETA. She also held leadership roles in the outpatient and radiology/imaging nursing department  as well as patient safety prior to joining BETA in 2019. Mrs. Olton received her master’s degree in nursing (healthcare administration) from the University of Texas, Arlington. Additional certifications include IHI Patient Safety Executive Certification.
