Throughout 2018, our monthly Safety Series will reinforce the principles built on a foundation of Just Culture. It is essential for those on their journey to understand key aspects of human factors and cognition. This series will reinforce effective communication skills, system design and human factor science, define and differentiate manageable behaviors and teach skills that will improve event analysis in your organizations. The Just Culture process will be applied to real case scenarios through various interactive sessions.

This presentation will provide information on the introduction of Just Culture and human factor science. We will review the commitment and benefits of establishing a Just Culture organizational philosophy and the tools needed for success on this journey

  • Explain what Just Culture is and the tools needed to embed a culture of accountability that is just and fair
  • Discuss what is meant by human factor science and its relationship to Just Culture
  • Describe what is required to be successful when embarking upon the journey of Just Culture

Your entire healthcare team will benefit from this session so please be sure to tune in.
