On Thursday morning, we will be hosting an Executive Leadership Retreat for organizations who are considering opting into BETA HEART® or have new leaders who have come on board over this past year, as well as a Physician Roundtable for members of your medical staff participating in BETA HEART. BETA HEART members and HQI Cares participants should plan to attend BETA HEART Workshop III with a focus on the final BETA HEART domain of Early Resolution and the integration of all domains of BETA HEART on Friday morning during the breakout sessions.
The Symposium will have all the elements you have come to expect, including sharing ideas and learning from other BETA members and exhibitors. We look forward to celebrating your team’s achievements in patient and employee safety at our annual reception and awards dinner event.

Travel/Reimbursement Policy - applies only to fully insured BETA Members
BETA will reimburse travel for up to six (6) seats per member organization as follows:
- Transportation: which includes round-trip coach airline ticket, mileage, parking and rideshare/taxi fare up to a combined maximum of $250. Uber or Lyft is preferred for travel to and from the airport. BETA does not reimburse a monetary value if using awards/miles.
- Hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach for one night at the negotiated rate of $344 (single occupancy $329 + $15 resort fee) if the commute to the event location is greater than 40 miles or travel time exceeds one hour from your home/office. Rooms at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach must be booked by August 14 to receive the discounted rate. A second night will not be covered in lieu of transportation costs but could be allowable for reimbursement through a facility's Risk Management Resource Fund (RMRF) or CARE fund account, if available and approved by the authorized account contact.
Note: Meals will be provided during the symposium for all symposium participants. All other meals and expenses will be the responsibility of the attendee. Please refer to our Symposium Reimbursement Policy and Form for more details.
