  • Program Description

Team training is an essential ingredient to success in the healthcare setting. Initially introduced to the defense industry and subsequently adopted in the airline industry, crew resource management principles and techniques translate to the healthcare arena. When clinicians work together as a highly effective team, patients are safer and receive higher quality care. Teamwork principles, including collaboration and communication, will be delivered through BETA's TeamSTEPPS curricula, which are designed to prepare your designated facility-based trainers to deliver course content to your clinical teams. The goal of this training is to develop your organization's internal expertise in teamwork skills and optimize your team’s performance so they will be able to respond quickly and effectively to whatever situations arise.
